Located in a part of town bursting with history, Restaurant Mirchi can be found amid tourist attractions in Old Montreal. Enter the establishment and you’ll be greeted by traditional Indian décor with vibrant colours to make you feel as if you’ve travelled to a land far away. Serving Indian food, this dining spot can seat up to 70 customers
Everything here is “à la carte,” so you’re sure to find your favourite dish for sampling. Tadoori chicken is a must as well as lamb Vindaloo. Meals are served spicy for those who love a nice zip in their meal and mild for those who can’t handle the heat. Various shrimp dishes are also on the menu. Among several dishes without meat, there are spicy buttered lentils found in the Tarka Dal as well as samosas for vegetarians.
To finish off your meal, be sure to try Indian ice cream or coconut cake for dessert. There’s even Indian beer to wet the whistle; such as the Cobra and the Taj Mahal. Restaurant Mirchi has a private room available for parties, office meetings or special events.
MIRCHI MEANS GREEN CHILLIES. THESE CAN BE USED AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO DRY CHILLIES OR RED CHILLI POWDER. ALL OUR DISHES HAVE A LITTLE TOUCH OF MIRCHI TO GIVE AN EVER LASTING RICH AND SCRUMPTIOUS FLAVOUR.
